 Our Staff

Career Pilot School’s staff is committed to providing you with the highest quality aviation education in the industry. Our flight instructors are not just great pilots, but they are top-notch educators.

Michael Siegel

Chief Flight Instructor

Michael holds Instructor and Instrument Instructor ratings for Single and Multiengine aircraft. Michael is a member of the Airplane Owner and Pilot’s Association (AOPA) and is also a member of NAFI (National Association of Flight Instructors). He holds a Bachelor Degree from Drake University in Sociology and Biology. Michael first learned to fly in his hometown of Des Moines, Iowa. He has many hours of flying experience having served as a Corporate Pilot, Chief Flight Instructor of Career Pilot School, and is the former owner and Chief Pilot of Siegel Aviation, LLC.

 Mark George

 Flight Instructor

Mark currently holds Instructor, Instrument Instructor, and Multi Engine Instructor Ratings, as well as the distinguished Gold Seal Instructor Certificate. Mark has had an interest in aviation all of his life and currently flies a King Air 350 for a corporate operator. In his senior year of high school, he started flight training with a family friend at an airport in northern New York. In order to fund his flight time, Mark diligently worked as a lineman at the airport. He soloed in the fall of 1987 and in the spring of 1988 earned his Private Pilot Certificate in Watertown, New York. Mark considers himself lucky to have had the opportunity to fly with and learn from many incredible individuals. He enjoys flying and teaching in all types of aircraft, but he has a special love for tail wheel and fabric aircraft, as well as multi engine aircraft.

 Patrick Lee

 Flight Instructor

Patrick took a somewhat roundabout way of getting involved in aviation, but is very happy that he has finally found his place in life. After being interested in aviation since a child, after spending close to a decade in the business world, he finally got his wings by earning his Private Pilot License at an FBO in Rochester, NY. Patrick is now an instrument rated pilot in both single and multi engine aircraft, and enjoys sharing his enthusiasm for flying with all of the students he brings to Career Pilot School. Patrick holds a degree in Business Finance from Rochester Institute of Technology and is a member of AOPA.

 Ron Albertson

Designated Pilot Examiner and Flight Instructor

Ron has been a fixture of this country’s aviation community for many years. After working as a flight instructor and charter pilot in his early years, he worked as a test pilot for an avionics company test flying almost every multi engine piston aircraft produced. Currently, Ron works as a Designated Pilot Examiner, a Cessna Citation pilot and Designated Citation Single Pilot Examiner, a Pilatus PC-12 pilot, and an aerobatics pilot and instructor. Ron’s focus has always been aviation education. He approaches checkrides not only as an evaluation, but also as a learning experience for the applicant.
